Skies Frame Company was established in May 2005.
After many years working for other fine framing
establishments, the desire to create in my own
space coincided beautifully with the opportunity
to do so in this wonderful location.
We are seated in the center of Rosedale, Brykerwoods,
Hyde Park and Brentwood and we are also in very close
proximity to Tarrytown, Crestview and Allendale neighborhoods.
Convenient to so many, we are honored to serve the
art community of Austin.
I first learned to frame at an art gallery in Houston
during my high school years. Several years later
in 1990, I moved to Austin and in 1992 I was certified
as a professional framer. My training included an
in depth study of how to handle art and the proper
processes and techniques to assure the preservation
of various forms and mediums.
The process
of transforming and enhancing a work of art brings
me great pleasure and I enjoy
serving so many in the community in this way.
